Outreach Services

Here at Nepean Intensive Care, we provide a number of services across the entire hospital campus.

ARTIC (Admission Review Team Intensive Care), is comprised of an Intensive Care nurse and doctor. They attend all medical emergency calls, review deteriorating patients in the ward and see critically ill patients in our Emergency Department.

The ICU Liaison service  reviews patients who have recently been discharged from the ICU. This service supports both the patient to transition form the ICU environment to the ward environment and supports our ward colleagues in the care and treatment of these patients.
